Building Strong Communities

For those who aren't familiar with me, I'm the owner of Best Park Ltd, Alfie Best Properties Ltd, and The Best Kettles Ltd. I'm the son of Alfie Best Sr., who is the leading park home operator in the UK.

A little about myself: I left school at the age of 12 to dive into the business world. Armed with determination, I bought a van and began cold calling with a driver, selling industrial equipment and supplies. This early venture taught me invaluable lessons about business and structure, despite having minimal formal education or qualifications.

In tandem with my cold calling business, I ventured into promoting club events for the traveling community. Through hard work and prudent saving, I managed to step onto the property ladder, following in my father's footsteps. At the age of 17, in 2015, I purchased my first mobile home park (Crays Hill Mobile Home Park, Billericay).

This journey led me to the creation of The Alfie Best Community Group. In my earlier years, before the advent of social media, I often found myself in need of advice and guidance from experienced entrepreneurs. However, without a centralised platform like a community group, I struggled to find the right resources. Realising the value of such a community, I conceived the idea in 2022 to bring together seasoned entrepreneurs in a collaborative space. The goal? To support each other, share knowledge, and learn from one another's experiences. After all, we don't have enough time in life to make all the mistakes ourselves.And thus, The Alfie Best Community Group was born.
